320i -- it looks terrific in the photo. I've got a '77 320i that used to belong to my Dad. We had it repainted in 1988 when I was in college and it was in pristine condition (for roughly 100,000 miles). Then it sat in my father's driveway after I graduated and its been there ever since. I found a molted snake skin in the driver's floorboard earlier this summer and the paint is completely gone. Its now in need of some serious restoration care. Please share any details of your progress and I'll do the same.

BTW, does your '78 have the awful points-based ignition system like the '77? I was forever trying to keep that thing tuned properly. I'd like to convert it to an electronic ignition system.
