But generally people avoid outright advertising in the forums. You might want to try the "For Sale" area.

But, so long as you posted, let me ask you a few questions:

There are a lot of people who rebuild ZF automatics. The key question is who rebuilds them correctly and reliably? Very few people other than ZF authorized shops. What are your qualifications to rebuild ZF autoboxes? At $1500, you are not giving them away, and if they only last for a short time, or otherwise have issues, that money is not really a savings compared to a well known vendor like Autosports Unlimited. Quality is also key when you have to ship large, bulky items around the country.

Also, does your warranty cover installation of a new trans? If I have to pay my shop another $1000 to install another transmission if one of your rebuilt units has a problem, that's not much of a warranty. Stated differently, if your warranty only covers your unit, it is of little use to me. Factory transmissions and ones rebuilt by ZF authorized shops generally cover the labor if they have to re-install for whatever reason.

Finally, why is your warranty only six months? The factory is two years unlimited mileage I believe, and most authorized ZF shops warrant the transmission for two years. Given that these are computer controlled, sealed transmissions, if they are rebuilt properly there's not much that can be done to them that would void the warranty that you wouldn't know about from a computer code or that wouldn't otherwise be readily apparent. Six months bespeaks a lack of confidence in the quality of your rebuild.

Don't want to come off as a dick, but I've been around BMWs too long and seen too many improperly rebuilt automatics cause nothing but aggravation, wasted time, and wasted money for the owners. The cars are never right, and you wind up spending as much as you would have to do the job right in the first instance. That why you are getting the skepticism here, so it's nothing personal. Your transmission may be a good deal, and it may not be, but it really depends on the quality of the rebuild. You need to do more to tell the people here why your unit is a quality rebuild.

And, btw, I have no affiliation whatsoever with anyone having anything to do with ZF transmissions, BMW dealers, etc. Just offering up my experience for the board's benefit.
