EVAP system is made out of plastic and all the hoses use these leaky crimped hoseclamps. I am guessing that you still hear the "hiss" of air rushing into the gas tank when you remove the gas cap.

P0446 says it's the vent control circuit. The tank vent is on the carbon canister. Under the spare tire. It's the solenoid mounted to the canister, where the big pipe is.

It could be plugged or not opening. If it were stuck open you would probably get the large leak code.

The pressure sensor is on the tank filler neck. You can see it if you remove the rubber gasket around the filler. Also, the purge valve is in the engine compartment under the intake manifold. You can see it without a mirror, it's mounted on a rubber thing.

This problem is detected by measuring pressure (vacuum) in the tank. There is no way to "fool" this EPA garbage. During the purge process it watches the o2 sensor to make sure it goes rich.
