Well, local and local, about 100kms away but its the closest official dragrace this summer so..

Junior dragster. Not that fast but its nice kids get invloved in the sport aswell. About 5hp Briggs&Stratton lawnmover engine at work in these.



Almost managed to get a couple of nice wheelies aswell. Difficult to get the shot at the right time. 11 something second cars these if memory serves me correctly.



This old Escort was fast as hell until it blew up. They later announced that they had opened her up and checked the pistons, both were ok.. =D




Time to punch a hole in the myth that old diesel Mercs never break down. Drove 13s (!!!) with this earlier. An old diesel Merc ffs, known to be the slowest thing man has ever created..

Fastest thing of the day. KTM Nitroduke. Did a 1/8th mile solorun. Not enough track to do a full 1/4th mile. This bikes personal best is 6.702 and 316km/h. However you put it, thats fast.




This is agressive. You cant argue with twin turbocharged bigblock. Drove a high 8 with this one.




A couple of diesel Mercs on the line up. Mid 13second cars these, scary. Nice to see some new thinking but still scary.

Got lots of other pics but I have to weed out the most drunken/shaky ones. Weather like that calls for a cold refreshing beverage, maybe a couple. Anyway, had a nice time.
