oh - and i would maybe change your timing schedule as all the trucks leave melbourne between 4 and 8pm - not so bad once you get off the hume - but they own the hume if you leave during that time - your with them till Albury (NSW border).

what suburb are you picking the car up from?

Im not sure about wildlife - im sure there are some areas that have kangaroos - like coonabarabran... but yor not really going to be able to dodge it

unless you maybe tkae the pacific hwy route?

longer - but more mainstream...
