Hi everyone, I'm new to bimmerboard, having semi-acquired an e36 318is coupe (it's my girlfriend's). It's basically stock apart from being seriously lowered and a set of 17inch bmw 'm sport' rims. My girlfriend and I are considering a few changes to the car, mainly cosmetic, including a colour change, 19 inch rims (if they'll fit easily), Altezza lights, full chrome grille, darker tint and a few other little things. My question in that the mouldings around the side windows (currently black and in pretty good condition for a 92 model) are nice, but I wouldnt mind trying to dress it up a bit by fitting chrome ones in its place as a few other mods we're considering involve chrome. I've noticed the later model (I think its e46) has the chrome around the windows like we're after. Is there anywhere we can purchase a new set of mouldings for an e36 in chrome, as I'm not a fan of putting cheap parts or 'slip on' parts on such a beautiful car like a bmw. I recently drove her for the first time last weekend having never driven it before, was always just a passenger, and even for a car as low as this one, it still drives smooth and perfect, I don't think I'll ever let her sell it! Any help with tips for the side mouldings would be greatly appreciated, Thanks,
