I did a lot of thinking and looking when I bought mine. I went with a Sears professional line, they are black. They are built better/stronger and they have an oil piston pump witch is quieter and I think lasts longer and pumps faster. If your just running automotive air tools a 2 hp 150 gallons tank is fine. If your painting or using air drills you need to get a larger model or dual stage compressor. Also this is a 120v so you can plug it in the wall but you NEED a dedicated circuit ran to this for it to work efficiently.

Make sure you pick up a good 150 feet hose real and a pair of water separators. Once you have a compressor you will wonder what you did without it. Also pick up a portable air bottle, they are cheap.
