...95 740i with many many scratches and pretty dull. I polished it manually with swirl and scratch removal, and waxed it with black wax. For the most part it shines, there's definately a difference, but hood and doors are stained from wax. Also, I wet-sanded a few spots thinking that the wax would take care of it, but it's now flat, no clearcoat- the spots are maybe 1 inch in diameter. I want to redo this crappy job. Please help...what's clay bar, and where to get it? I will get an orbital, but what pads and in what order to use them? I'm handy and determined but clueless and so please explain in some detail if possible. Thank you...
