I was in the market for a 740i Sport and saw their ad on autotrader.com and it was originally listed for $23K. Printed the ad, drove down for a test drive and showed the ad to the sales guy.

He grew pale and disappeared for about 15 minutes and came back with this story: price was a typo (ad price pf should be $26K, even had papers to prove it). He was gone for a while to fix the online ad but told me that he has to honor $23K since I had a printed copy of it.

The guy was so relieved when I decided not to get it and he said so to me in person. Car was in great shape (in and out) and drove very well. I had my eye on a '01 740iL w/ Sport Pkg that was fully loaded in La Palma (BOB ZAND, ask for Mark and tell him Romeo told you about them) and decided to buy that one instead.

P.S. BOB Zand also had an '00 740i Sport listed for $20K (had about 74K miles). True Sprots are very hard to come by it seems in SoCal
