Suspension work went well. It actually bacame a two part repair. After replacing the rear shocks and shock mounts (both appeared worn and needed replacing) I also found that the Rear Trailing Arm bushings were due for a replacement as well. This past Saturday I replaced the two Rear Trailing Arm bushings. Took me about 4.5hrs to replace both of them. I did the work myself, and if I had assistance, it probably would have gone a lot quicker.

Now I am in need of an alignment. I have called around and was surprised at how few places will actually perform alignments on BMWs. I did find one place that was recommended to me by Kevin Kee's Auto Service, Automobile Services Co. They are able to get me in today, as opposed to everyone else who seems to be booked until later this week.

In all, my rear suspension is a huge improvement over the tired suspension I replaced...now, the only question is what do I buy with the $500 I saved in labor charges?.... :-)
