I am searching information about this swap, Alpina produced B8 with 4,6l m60 engine, very powerful car.
I have found information about e30 340i swap but no information about m60 in e36.
I have worries about fitment of oilpan/pick-up from e32/e34, because the oilpan is reverse in the e32/e34 compared to e36 (m40/m50) (the drain is at the rear of the oilpan but at the front of the oilpan in e32/e34/e30). I think about some modification to the m60 oilpan or change/modify the front stabilizer bar.
Alpina made special Motor Mount Brackets, the price is around €600. Information about it how to make my own motor mount brackets would be ideal because Alpina parts are expensive.
Fitment of e32/e34 exhaust manifold in e36 engine compartment.
If it is better to use the remote brake booster used in e34/e32 (m60) or some hydrolic brake system from e32 (750iA/early 735iA).
