Wow, the diesel model is not available in the US???
I prefer the diesel options on the basis of fuel economy, although it only works out viable if you cover approx 25 to 30k miles annually (75% sure).
But also on the basis that a diesel car more readly accepts alternative fuels (such as Biodiesel) which have been launched here in ireland over the last few weeks (and will continue to grow to replace conventional fuels (i hope)).
