Hi All from Holland,

I'm a proud owner of a completely ground-up restored E12 M535i.
As I've owned a E24 630CS before, I thought there might be plenty of information available for the E12 M535i aswell.

Unfortunately unlike the E24 experience this turns out not to be the case.
There are a few websites, and I've seen some owners enthusiast-sites, but when one is looking for some more in-depth materials, the info which can be found either on the web or in books is very very limited.

But, perhaps some other E12 m535i enthusiasts out here with much more experience in reasearching this model might be able to help me out.
I do hope so!

I'm looking for information, pictures etc. of the building of these cars at BMW Motorsport during 1980 & 1981.
Unfortunately no pictures seem to be available at BMW and Mobile Tradition, so perhaps a private collector has managed to get some in the past.

Also looking for pictures of the press-introduction of this car at the I.A.A. in Frankfurt in Sept. 1979.
There must have been pictures published in car-magazines of that period.

Also looking for any roadtests / drivingimpressions articles published in car-magazines of these years, and perhaps some articles in later issues about E12 M535i enthusiasts which run such a car today.
A good copy or scan would be highly appreciated, and language is not relevant, all is more then welcome!

Any other information which might have been researched by anyone out here is highly welcomed by e-mail.

Natrually if I can assist with the limited materials I have available myself, I'll be mor then happe to do so.

Any contacts of people with great knowledge of these cars is also welcomed.

I hope there are, apart from drivers, also some model-historians/collectors amongst you that are able to assist me further!
