Hello,
Previously on my first e23 (euro spec) I had "E" certified head lamps.
I could change the halogens at any time I wanted with Higher wattage.
That was then. Now after relocating I aquired e23 and e24 which had DOT certified "oil Lamps !"
Then Mr.Daniel Stern introduced CSR literature to me.
I got a pair from him and fitted to my e24 and the night driving changed like Heaven.
Now I see the road. CIBIE CSRs are brighter than the DOT sealed beams because they utilize 100 % reflective surface than the latter.
I recommend Cibie CSRs on all BMWs.
