A friend posted on FB that PETA is pissed because in the new Mario game, he apparently dons a fur suit for some reason. I mean, I'm all about protecting animals and such from cruelty - so long as they're not tasty - but bitching over skinning a VIRTUAL animal is taking it too far. And if they raise the "kids will be influenced by it," I respond with a lusty Bull.Shit, as I grew up watching the rabbit shoot the duck in the face over and over, the coyote falling miles off a cliff, and somehow, even at the tender age of 7, I knew I probably shouldn't try any of that at home. These damn kids today.
