Or well something close to it.

The water pump just locked up and steam started comming out of the engine bay. The only turn off i had was the one to my house which was only .1miles and it got there. Popped the hood and billows of steam came out. My intake boot was disconnected from my intake and there was coolant all over the rear drivers side part of the engine bay.

Upon initian inspection, all we could find was the water pump died. But from the rear of the engine bay we're not sure where all the coolant came from. The front of the engine is fine and the car starts and idles fine(our check method for finding water pump dead)

So we have no idea where the coolant bursted from and what we should do to fix it. I'll be ordering a new water pump from steve on monday, also, what else should i do while im in that area. I'd be nice not to have to worry about something breaking in the near future.

All in all, a very nerve racking experience and i'd like to get the car back on the road asap.
