Hey Everyone,
I'm terribly sorry to report that I haven't had the chance to speak with Chris Orr about setting up the Tech Session as I was hoping to set up before the end of the month. I have a couple of reasons for my actions and I would like to share them with the group.

Ben and I are in the process of gathering funds individually for our suspension upgrades/replacements. I'm personally in need of getting my act together to order the small parts like pads and such to complete my project. It's a bummer looking at over $1000 of parts sitting in my basement ready to go into the car, but with a busy summer schedule and other stuff going on... I've simply been unable to meet my goal for the month of getting that specific Tech Session scheduled.

I'm planning on getting something together for September as it's going to be getting colder soon and it will be time to store the car for the winter. My goal is to speak with Chris Orr over the next weekend to put something together for the group and get back to you before the next weekend to let you know my progress with dates. If you have any questions/suggestions for possible Tech Sessions, please let me know by E-mail and we'll figure something out.

As fall is coming up, it would be nice to have a group drive like I proposed in mid-winter. I would like to go to New Ulm for the Oktoberfest... so I'll have to do a little research on that one this week too. I'm SO sorry about letting the group down with pushing off the suspension Tech Session off til September, but I also know it should be a good one since all those who attend with not only have a tour of Orr's new shop, but you'll learn a lot about suspension systems and a bunch of other stuff under your car at the same time!

I would like to personally welcome all those new to the group and we will be gathering on the first Tuesday of September at the Calhoun Professional (Executive) building. This is also the same building they are having the Wheels Of Italy this coming Sunday. If you have a chance to attend, PLEASE take some digital pictures and upload them to the forum. I wish I could attend, but unfortunately am scheduled to work that day and I kind of need the money.

Thank you to everyone for your patience regarding the Tech Session matter, I really feel like I've let a few people down on this one and hope to make it up to them.
